Meet the new management team

With the rapid rate of growth at 9y we thought we’d better do a bit of restructuring – to strengthen the framework which ensures we can maintain the personal approach which sets us apart from the crowd. So up steps Steph Jones, designer supreme, to take on the mantle of Head of Creative….Jo Greer becomes our Client Services Director (don’t worry, Tim hasn’t gone anywhere – he’s still at the helm, along with Mick!) and Pete Lord completes the new team as Production Director. All three will now be responsible for the day to day running of the 9y business. The management team and a few titles might change – but our core values and principles certainly don’t and won’t. We’re all about making sure our clients are (more than!) happy, maintaining creative standards and delivering results!

Close Brothers Motor Finance

Following a series of successful marketing initiatives for Close Brothers Motor Finance – leading providers of flexible car, van and motorbike finance services in partnership with over 8000 dealerships across the UK and Ireland - 9y have been asked to design and implement promotions to their dealer base. This new initiative is in addition to on-going dealer comms, point of sale packs and internal incentive schemes for Close Brothers Motor Finance staff.

Two new faces at 9y

9y is an agency that’s going places…and we’re delighted to have welcomed two new faces ‘on board’ as we expand to deliver our trade mark ‘extra mile’ service to an ever growing roster of clients. Joining us as a digital marketing whizz kid we have James Newton (Isaac to his friends) whose dazzling digital design skills are adding the wow factor to a whole range of campaigns. James comes to us with several years of experience at cutting edge digital marketing agencies under his belt….while meanwhile, fresh faced and straight out of college, Charlotte Foster (no nickname yet, watch this space!) has joined our client services team as an Account Executive. We’ve been putting Charlotte through her paces on a range of accounts and she’s already proving that she’s a bit of a star!

New branding for Morses Club

Following their acquisition of Shopacheck Financial Services, Morses Club came to us to help them rebrand and reposition their business. 9y have a wealth of experience in the financial services sector, which gives us an invaluable insight into how the ‘home credit’ market works - right through from clear messaging for customers to internal promotions for staff and the agents who deliver the cash loans to their customer’s doors. We’ve given Morses Club a fresh and friendly new image, built around bright colours and the positive message that they’re the home loan company which is committed to ‘putting you first’. From a new look website, complete with easy to understand processes and a friendly blog full of helpful money saving tips, to marketing materials and promotions, the rebranding reassures customers that they’ve made the right choice by joining Morses Club.

Roaring success for Lion Quays

Lion Quays is a luxurious hotel and spa on the Welsh borders – and when they wanted a brand new identity and look, they booked in with 9y. Our experience in the sector helped us develop bright new branding to reflect both the quality of their recently upgraded accommodation, food and health and leisure offerings, and new trends in the sector and how customers make their choices. While maintaining their reputation for quality, we’ve given the brand a fresh look which broadens their appeal not just to overnight visitors but also to ‘foodies’ and to people looking to either pump iron or be pampered! Based round an ‘LQ’ theme, we have developed a new look website and an ongoing suite of marketing materials to promote their seasonal offers. It’s been a ‘roaring’ success for Lion Quays – with guest numbers soaring.

Welcome to Triton Showers

9y Creative are delighted to welcome Triton, Britain’s leading shower manufacturer, on board as a new client. Having demonstrated our in-depth understanding of the market - and how it works from brand through to end user via independent retailers, merchants, distributors and specifiers – 9y Creative were selected to design and deliver the new Triton Commercial Brochure. We’re the agency behind the launch of their new Touch shower too – it’s coming your way in the New Year, so watch this space for more details. With our specialist experience throughout the kitchens and bathrooms sector, all of us here at 9y Creative are looking forward to working closely with Triton on further projects. And helping sales shower in for them, of course!

Launching Keramag Design

Sanitec, the leading pan-European multi-brand bathroom ceramics specialists, have responded to the trend for top-end product ranges to prosper in their sector with a carefully planned and executed strategy to build on the strengths of a popular existing brand, Keramag. They’re elevating the brand profile and introducing new higher price bracket ranges, for the chic and style conscious designer market, under the Keramag Design banner. They called on the expertise of the 9y Brand team to help develop and deliver the strategic documents for both the internal and external launches of the new collection and brand identity. We’re now following up this launch material with brochures and point of sale. This is one of a number of important projects 9y has been entrusted with by Sanitec over recent years.

Stelrad are the UK’s bestselling and most popular radiator brand, chosen by householders and installers all across the country – and they gave 9y a nice warm feeling too, by choosing us to launch their brilliant new Radical range. Radical is a clever radiator design which produces more heat at a lower cost, by using less energy and dramatically reducing heat loss. It’s a market-leading product which smartly answers the changing demands of an increasingly energy – and cost – saving conscious world. 9y has produced a number of equally cost-efficient and effective marketing solutions for Stelrad across their traditional product ranges as well as helping them to launch Radical: we like to think we’re pretty hot in all their market sectors!

System One Street Teams

Tough times for the economy make it even more important to squeeze the best value out of every marketing £. The smart thinking of 9y Events has helped SystemOne, who deliver the UK’s largest integrated multi-operator transport ticketing scheme outside of London, to raise awareness of their Travelcards – ultra effectively and economically. Bright and breezy, fully ‘branded up’ street teams have been out and about at key events, promoting travel on Greater Manchester’s integrated transport system. This low cost, high impact activity has seen a significant measurable uplift in awareness across many important potential customer groups after carefully targeted street campaigns during the Olympics, the three days of the Manchester Picnic and the popular Christmas Markets season. Massive reach with little outlay – that’s streetwise marketing!
